To provide a more descriptive name, and to avoid confusion with an existing image format the ending .sdr has been changed .ibl, and all aviable tools will be updated in the comming days. So you might need to wait until the sdr plugins of your choice has been updated (see here) . IMPORTANT NOTICE:
1. make sure your existing sdr description files will be renamed to .ibl (experimental version allows you to browse and load sdr's) 2. please update your sdr / sIBL folder location in the config panel after updating (Current folder settings will be lost) For a detailed description on sdr look here http://www.hdrlabs.com/sibl/index.html Since version 0.6 a lot have been included, this tool now features semi-automatic sdr creation through a single hdr, browsing and management functions and some feedback in the main editor window. Still no real manual, but Christian Bloch took the chance to write some descriptive words here . Some other stuff wich isn't that obvious:
Browser
Notice the sphere and flat preview button on the right side, wich allows opengl 3d / flat view of the images. Main Editor

The histogramm ranges between ~0-1.3, the color bar on the right side displays the average color distribution of the image.
New SDR from HDR 
You can create previews of any of the image effects by ALT+Clicking on the apply icon, clicking on the new eye icon will undo this. Size in thumbnail view will NOT control the output size, instead it controls the size of the grabber. |
